Catchy Business Cards

It's not enough to just have a business card anymore, it's so important to have a business card that stands out, that makes you stand out. A business card can raise the first impression others have of you or lower it, depending on the image you project. Otherwise known as branding. Since your business card is often part of your first impression and can also play an integral role in the start of your brand, you want to make sure you do it right the first time so you don't waste your hard earned money!

There are tons of business card designs online to choose from and here are a few things to consider when doing so:

1. Will this card say what you do without you having to explain? A picture is worth a 1,000 words, so use this to your advantage.

2. Is this card dynamic? With so much competition, it's very important that your card stands out in a good way, that it jumps off the page at people.

3. Is this business card sturdy? The last thing you want is a great looking card printed on flimsy stock. Make sure your card is printed on 12 point card stock or higher.

4. Is your card double-sided? Use the real estate of your business card wisely and list services or benefits on the back of the card with your contact info on the front. Maximize the space without overcrowding it.

5. Did you include your tagline? Your tagline should say what you do in 3 to 4 words and should be included on all your printed materials. In real estate it's all about location, location & location. In marketing, it's all about repeat, repeat & more repeat. Consistency is king!

These business card tips are just a few ideas to help get you started to selecting a memorable and catchy business card for your real estate business. They are not the be all and end all of business card design, but the more you can incorporate in your card, the better!

Business Card Finishes

Be sure to select a suitable finish for your business cards. This can be the difference between being memorable versus just another business card.

For example, you might try a pearl finish if you own a salon or spa to add an extra sheen to your card. Or if you're a in the construction field, you might select an indestructible extra thick finish so your cards don't bend in your wallet and so, when they are received, they give an extra impression of quality, making you stand out in a good way.  You can also choose a cream finish and change the entire look of your in that one simple step.  Or select gold for an extra luxurious  feeling.
